Welcome to the CristoforiTeam’s website!

Irene Cristofori

I am an Assistant Professor at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and a member of the Neural and Cognitive Control team at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences Marc Jeannerod (ISCMJ), CNRS. My main research interests are social and affective neurosciences. I am interested in the neural and cognitive aspects modulating social pain, social beliefs, and language. To this aim I use a multimodal approach involving healthy individuals but also neurological populations (traumatic brain injury, brain tumor, and epilepsy) of adults and children. The lab is strategically positioned for research in fundamental and clinical populations, benefiting strategic collaborations with other researchers at CRNL, SBRI and clinicians at the HFME.
